2007 Nebraska tourism publications available
LINCOLN, NEB. (January 3, 2007)--Free copies of the 2007 Nebraska Travel Guide are available from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s (DED) Travel and Tourism Division. The publication includes hundreds of attractions, festivals, lodging facilities and outdoor outfitters to help you plan your next great adventure through Nebraska.
The cover of the 192-page, four-color Guide features a unique photo of the Kingdom of the Night at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo. With its world-class exhibits, the Zoo is one of the state’s most visited attractions.
“The Travel Guide is an essential tool for travelers interested in exploring Nebraska,” said Christian Hornbaker, DED’s Travel and Tourism Division director. “Using it to plan trips is a great way to get organized and learn about all of the exciting aspects that each region has to offer.”
A special section in the 2007 Nebraska Travel Guide celebrates the history of the state’s nine byways. A new feature this year is a 16-page addition of events held across the state.
