2006 Project Networking Guide now available

LINCOLN, NEB. (April 3, 2006)—The 2006 Nebraska Project Networking Guide is hot off the press, free for the asking, and available for community leaders and volunteers interested in participating in this year’s Nebraska Community Improvement Program (NCIP).

The publication highlights all projects submitted the previous year by NCIP participants in the categories of Volunteer and Leadership Development, Community Development, and Economic Development. Each project listing includes its title, a brief description, and contact information.

“We strongly encourage community leaders and volunteers who want to participate in NCIP and are looking for innovative project ideas to contact communities of similar size and/or communities that have successfully completed similar projects to share the pros and cons, and perhaps even come up with newer, more innovative concepts for community projects, ” said Helen Hecox, NCIP intern.
