June 30 is deadline for Tourism Advantage Grant applications LINCOLN, NEB. (April 19, 2006)—Local, area, and regional tourism promotional groups have until June 30 to apply for individual grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 through the Tourism Advantage Matching Grant Program. The Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Travel and Tourism Division, which administers the program, will award $500,000 in grants this year for a variety of advertising, marketing and promotional activities, including mass media advertising, Website development, the production and printing of travel literature, and to attend travel, trade and sports shows, to name a few.
