Meetings set to explore regional connections LINCOLN, NEB. (May 15, 2006)--Connecting the dots…working a jigsaw puzzle…skip just one dot, lose a puzzle piece, and your picture is incomplete.
Making the right connections and finding the pieces that fit are equally important to growing your community in today’s fast-paced world. Go it alone and you’ll end up with half the dots, or missing key pieces. But reach out to your neighbors and witness firsthand how cooperation and shared challenges can magically transform your collective communities—your region—into a clear picture of your future for years to come. Where to begin? We’ll make it easy for you. Come to one of the following meetings that are most convenient for you. To register, go online to http://cari.unl.edu, click on Work/Courses (on your left), click on Current Course Catalog (center) then choose the Kearney or Bridgeport site. A registration form will appear. If you have problems, contact Linda Tesch at 402-472-5558. The meetings are free and open to the public—all we ask is that you pre-register so we know how many to plan on. A light lunch will be served. We guarantee the pieces will start to fall into place as we come together and share resources, success stories, work on grant and other funding opportunities, and make plans to connect the dots for a bright future.
