2006 Nebraska Travel and Tourism Industry awards nomination forms now available
LINCOLN, NEB. (May 31, 2006)—Is there a special event, brochure, website or tourism campaign that you would like to showcase? Has someone in your community or region championed tourism and now you would like to honor them? Is there a regional tourism association or entity that has done much to market and develop tourism in your area? If so, nominate this outstanding project, person, or group for a Nebraska Travel and Tourism Industry Award.
Award categories include Friend of Tourism, Outstanding Event, Outstanding New Event, Outstanding Regional Association, Outstanding Tourism Campaign, Outstanding Tourism Entity, Outstanding Tourism Publication, Outstanding Website, and Henry Fonda Award. Five (5) copies of each nomination are due into the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Travel and Tourism Division office in Lincoln by 5 p.m., September 1.
