Tourism conference to be in North Platte (October 04, 2006) PDF Print E-mail

LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 4, 2006) – The 31st Annual Nebraska Travel Conference will be held in North Platte on Oct. 18-19 at the Quality Inn & Suites Sandhills Convention Center. Anyone interested in learning more about tourism, Nebraska's third-leading industry, is encouraged to register and attend. The conference will culminate with a banquet featuring Governor Dave Heineman honoring the winners of statewide tourism awards for excellence.

Conference attendees will learn about enhancing travelers’ experiences, consumer and industry trends, Nebraska Tourism marketing updates, and how to achieve higher levels of professionalism within the tourism industry.

The travel conference is organized by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Travel and Tourism Division and hosted by the city of North Platte.
