Edgerton offers application workshops

LINCOLN, NEB. (July 18, 2008)-How does your business measure up in terms of the competition?  How do you know if you are world class?

The Edgerton Award program is offering a workshop for business leaders seeking to improve overall performance. The day's agenda will include an introduction to the Baldrige Award criteria and organizational profile (on which the Edgerton Awards are based); insight from former Edgerton Award recipients; how to respond to the application process and results criteria; and preparing for site visits and examiners' questions.

Training is geared for the two or three key leaders who will guide your organization through a self-assessment and prepare the report that's reviewed by an external panel of examiners. The process will give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the criteria used by large and small world-class businesses in the manufacturing, health care, government, education and nonprofit sectors.
