2005 Nebraska tourism publications available (January 4) PDF Print E-mail

LINCOLN, NEB. (January 4, 2005)--Free copies of the 2005 Nebraska Travel Guide and 2005 Nebraska Festivals Guide are available from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development's Travel and Tourism Division. The publications feature hundreds of attractions, festivals, lodging facilities, and outdoor outfitters.

"We're confident that travelers will be impressed with the variety of attractions and events that Nebraska has to offer, be it for day, weekend, or extended stays," said Dan Curran, Travel and Tourism director.

The cover of the 160-page, four-color 2005 Nebraska Travel Guide features hikers at Chadron State Park, Crawford's Legend Butte Golf Course, the Holy Family Shrine near Gretna, the Hubbard Gorilla Valley at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, and mountain bikers near Scottsbluff.

The 56-page 2005 Nebraska Festivals Guide lists hundreds of festivals across the state. Many additional events are listed on the Nebraska Tourism website at: www.VisitNebraska.org
