Aug. and Sept. workshops to review 2006 housing funding guidelines (July 27) PDF Print E-mail

LINCOLN, NEB. (July 27, 2005)--Community representatives, housing providers, and grantees are invited to learn more about and provide input on the 2006 Nebraska Affordable Housing Program application process at upcoming workshops in August and September.

Staff from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development will explain the process of preparing and submitting applications, and review guidelines for the housing programs. They also will share information about past and current affordable housing trends in the state's southeast, western, central and northeast investment zones.

The workshops will be held:

  • Aug. 19, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.--Kearney, Holiday Inn, 110 Second Ave.
  • Aug. 22, 9 a.m.-Noon--Fremont, Holiday Inn, 2415 N. Lincoln Ave.
  • Aug. 23, 1-4 p.m--Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, 1135 'M' St., Ste. 200
  • Sept. 1, 9 a.m.-Noon MT--Bridgeport, Prairie Winds Community Center, 424 N. Main St.

The workshops are free and registration is not required.
