LINCOLN, NEB. (Aug. 30, 2005)—The Nebraska Logistics Council invites all interested people to attend RFID The Future of Logistics Today, Sept. 20, 8-9:30 a.m., at the Humanities Center, Criss Auditorium, on the campus of Bellevue University, 1000 Galvin Road, in Bellevue, Neb.
Conference presenter Mark L. Ancona will discuss the history of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), today’s technology, success stories, RFID in the supply chain, standards, cost justification, and allow time for audience questions and answers. Ancona is president of Dataflo Consulting, a systems integration company specializing in radio frequency data collection that serves Fortune 500 clients, such as Hewlett Packard, Union Pacific Railroad and First Data Corp., among others. He helped create the largest independently owned and operated food service distribution company in a 10-state region.
All who pre-register by Sept. 15 will have a RFID label with their name, company and e-mail address awaiting them. A live demonstration using the RFID labels will be presented.
For those who are unable to attend in person, a web conference of the presentation can be viewed. A website address will be provided on completion of pre-registration. The seminar may then be viewed live or up to 30 days following the presentation.
