Economic development briefing set for October 26 (September 23) PDF Print E-mail

LINCOLN, NEB. (September 23, 2005)—A free briefing that describes the functions, programs and services available through the Nebraska Department of Economic Development is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 26, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Wayne State College, Student Center, Elkhorn Room.

Department staff will share information about key components that lead to economic stability and growth, including business and tourism attraction, business retention and expansion, housing and community development, and entrepreneurship. Information about Nebraska Advantage, Nebraska’s new generation of economic development initiatives also will be presented.

Staff will present a department overview at 9 a.m., followed by tips on how to best use the department’s programs and services.
