Still time to registerLINCOLN, NEB. (July 19, 2007)—Business leaders and quality improvement professionals wanting to improve the overall performance of their businesses have an opportunity to take part in one of several Edgerton application workshops in July and August.

The workshop, which will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m., will be held:

  • Thursday, July 26—Omaha, Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, West Omaha Office, 13206 Grover St.
  • Tuesday, July 31—Scottsbluff, Western Nebraska Community College, Harms Advanced Technology Center, 2620 College Park (formerly Sykes Blvd.)
  • Friday, August 10—Kearney, Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Office, 1007 Second Ave.

The day’s agenda will include an introduction to the Baldrige Award criteria and organizational profile (on which the Edgerton Awards are based); insights from former Edgerton Award recipients; how to respond to the application process and results criteria; and preparing for site visits and examiners’ questions.

A nominal workshop fee will cover lunch and workshop materials.
