In a letter to the Board of Directors earlier this week Development Corporation of North Platte (DEVCO) executive director Lisa Dominisse announced she will be leaving her position effective August 24th.  Dominisse, who has been with DEVCO since May 2005, is leaving the organization to take a position with Great Plains Regional Medical Center as Human Resources Director.

Regarding her tenure with DEVCO Dominisse said, “It has been my genuine pleasure to work for the Development Corporation of North Platte. I have loved being part of DEVCO and the opportunities that have been provided to me during my tenure.  I value my relationships with DEVCO’s Board of Directors, staff, our members and development partners and look forward to watching all of the great things we have started come to completion over the next five to ten years.  This is a great community and a committed group of people.  North Platte/Lincoln County is lucky to have an organization like DEVCO.”

Dominisse’s departure will leave an absence at the helm of the organization; one DEVCO Board President Dudley Oltmans hopes to fill in the near future.  “The Search Committee has already been determined and the position will soon be advertised,” Oltmans said.  “We would like to have a short list of qualified candidates identified by the end of August and have someone on board by October.  Lisa has done a great job in the two plus years she has served as Executive Director for DEVCO and I thank her for her dedication and service to DEVCO and the North Platte community.  We will miss Lisa's leadership but wish her much success in her new position with the GPRMC.”
