OAKLAND, NEB. (October 15, 2007)—The Nebraska Microenterprise Partnership Fund is offering a second round of funding for micro programs for the 2007-2008 funding year. This funding, which is offered in addition to the September 2007 awards, is focused on building scale and sustainability for micro-programming so that more businesses can be served long-term.

Micro programs provide loans of $35,000 or less, training, and technical assistance to micro businesses with five or fewer employees.

The stated purpose of the LB 327 awards is to establish a permanent statewide infrastructure of micro lending programs. Individual businesses are not eligible applicants for these funds.
