Plan now to attend the 2008 Governor’s Agri/Eco-Tourism Workshop, February 5-6, at the Sandhills Convention Center, 2102 South Jeffers St., in North Platte.  This year’s workshop has an exciting agenda that will provide bushels of information and introduce fields of new opportunity.
Keynote speaker Claude-Jean Harel, MA MAHI, of Great Excursions Co., will talk about “How to Package and Market Irresistible Agri-Tourism Experiences.” Harel’s approach is specially designed for agri-tourism operators in remote areas.
The workshop also will include breakout sessions on marketing, funding opportunities, using natural resources and wildlife as resources for income, and selling and keeping your products local.  A panel of Agri/Eco-Tourism businesses also will share their perspective on the business of Agri and Eco-Tourism.
To register and see the complete agenda for this workshop, visit www.VisitNebraska.org/industry, or contact Karen Kollars at 308-249-3220, or Tom Tabor at 402-326-1587 for more information.
