Learn about economic development in Nebraska

(LINCOLN, NE) Want to learn more about economic development in Nebraska?
Attend the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s (DED) first 2008 Briefing on March 27, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. (CST), at Central Community College, Room 210, in Grand Island.

DED staff will provide information about key components for economic development stability and growth, including business and tourism attraction, retention and expansion of existing business, housing and community development and entrepreneurship. DED hosts these free briefings for all interested participants.

The second briefing will be held on July 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (CST), at the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) Offices, 402 East State Farm Road, North Platte, and the third briefing in Lincoln in December. Date and location of the December briefing will be announced at a later date.
