LINCOLN, NEB. (March 5, 2008)—Two rural development institutions have joined forces to present one power-packed conference about all the issues most important to rural Nebraskans, so get ready!
Plan now to attend the Governor’s Conference on Rural Development (the combined conferences of The Nebraska Community Improvement Program (NCIP) and the Partnership for Rural Nebraska (PRN)’s Rural Institute. The conference will be held November 14 at the Kearney Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center.
This inaugural conference will feature informative presenters, area tours, and networking opportunities leading up to the 45th Annual NCIP Awards evening banquet. Take the time to attend this event to learn more about resources available for rural development in Nebraska and to share in the successes of many Nebraska communities. Watch for more information on the conference in the upcoming months.
The conference is hosted by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, United States Department of Agriculture , Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, Rural Development Commission, the University of Nebraska, and other rural economic development partners.
