“Edgerton Journey” is Topic of ASQ Meeting
LINCOLN, NEB. (March 14, 2008)—The Nebraska Section 1302 of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) invites businesses interested in performance excellence to dinner and a presentation on Thursday, March 20, at Chances R Restaurant in York, Neb. The presentation is titled: “The Journey to The Edgerton Award”.
The Edgerton Quality Award, administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, is Nebraska’s Quality Award, and is awarded each year in three categories. St Francis Medical Center in Grand Island received the highest award level, the Excellence Award, in 2007.
The evening speakers are William Redinger, who has experience with Edgerton Award recipients – St Francis in Grand Island and Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, and Dr. Michael Horn, Vice President of Medical Affairs and member of the Executive Team at St. Francis, who provided the visionary leadership for achieving The Edgerton’s Excellence Award.
Networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a short tutorial at 6 p.m. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., with the main program immediately following.
