Tourism Advantage grant applications due July 15 (May 1) PDF Print E-mail

Grants will be awarded for a variety of uses

LINCOLN, NEB. (May 1, 2008)-Local, area and regional tourism promotional groups have until July 15, 2008, to apply for individual grants ranging from $2,000 to $50,000 through the Tourism Advantage Matching Grant Program. The Nebraska Department of Economic Development's Travel and Tourism Division administers the program.

A total of $500,000 will be awarded in grants this year for a variety of advertising, marketing and promotional activities, including but not limited to mass media advertising, Web site development, the production and printing of travel literature and participation in travel, trade and sports shows. 

Grant awardees will be announced on Aug. 15, 2008.
