Build/Improve Facilities PDF Print E-mail

Several financial and technical resources are available to help new and existing businesses offset some of the cost involved in constructing new facilities or renovating existing ones. DED’s Community Development Block Grant program awards funding to qualifying communities for business loans whose projects may qualify under the Business Development category. Additionally two databases—The Nebraska Economic Development Info and Location One Information System —feature current listings of ready to develop buildings and acreages located in communities across Nebraska.

In a different vein, the Community Development Assistance Act awards tax credits to businesses that contribute money to worthy projects within their communities, including museums, athletic complexes, and other endeavors that help promote citizens’ overall quality of life.
