2018 NAHTF Application Guideline Workshops
Free workshops to go over the Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund applications will occur on the following dates:
In Person, La Vista Conference Center

- March 7, 2018, 1:30 – 4:00pm (Central Time) | Register here
- March 15, 2018, 10:00 – 12:30pm (Central Time) | Register here
The Webex service will require use of a telephone to have access to the audio portion of the workshop. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for the workshop and a call in number. This number will incur long distance charges. If you do not want to incur these charges, please select the Call Me option when accessing the workshop. This option will call you directly at the number you enter.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Full Certification Training
The Department’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Full Certification Trainings will be held on June 26 – 29, 2018. The training will be held at the Nebraska State Office Building (301 Centennial Mall South Lincoln, NE).
Certification training is intended for individuals that will be administering CDBG projects and assisting with the implementation of these projects. This training is technical in nature, challenging, and helpful, but intended for those persons who will be working with CDBG on a frequent basis.
Additional details regarding the training event, including the agenda, will be made available in April 2018.

Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Access Requirement Self-Training Presentation
The Nebraska Department of Economic Development released Policy Guidance regarding Limited English Proficiency Access Requirements along with a Four Factor Analysis and Language Access Plan template. These requirements apply to any political subdivision of the State of Nebraska, or an eligible nonprofit organization, to whom Federal financial assistance is extended.
