JANUARY 27, 2012 (LINCOLN, NEB.)—The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded $1,997,834 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for owner-occupied  housing rehabilitation projects to communities in southeastern, south central, southwestern and northeastern Nebraska.

The projects include:

Southeast Nebraska

  • Aurora and Central City has been awarded $419,202 in CDBG funding to rehabilitate 14 owner-occupied homes of people earning at or below 80 percent of the AMI in Aurora and Central City.
