A new pre-application process for the Building Entrepreneurial Communities Act (BECA) and the Agricultural Opportunities and Value-Added Agriculture (VAA) grant programs offers people the chance to get applications prescreened complete with suggestions. The process involves submitting one copy of the completed pre-app by the deadline listed below. These can then be revised and submitted by the final application deadline (along with the required number of additional copies). 
           
            Final applications going through the pre-application process will receive 10 bonus scoring points. It’s important to note, however, that submitting a pre-app doesn’t guarantee funding. BECA DEADLINES:           
            Pre-application deadline = Friday, September 10, Noon
            Application deadline = Thursday, September 30, Noon
 
VAA DEADLINES:
            Pre-application deadline = Friday, October 1, Noon
            Application deadline = Thursday, October 14, Noon
